I suspect today is going to be a long day. This time in a couple of hours we shall be on a hot motorway, heading to Stoke for the day as that is the waterpark my son wants to go to for his very early birthday celebrations. We're going to sing cub songs in the car. I know some of them work on a repetitive circling basis (Found a peanut, found a peanut, found a peanut yesterday...) I'm hoping the traffic flows smoothly.

Given the predicted temperatures, before we leave, I'm hoping to finish scrubbing out the base of the pool, so I can start getting new water in it that can then heat up during the day. Given that the scrubbing was what I was doing when it got so dark to see last night, I'm aware that once again i've not taken time to down tools/sky gaze. But even a couple of minutes of that lifts the soul, so I shall make a minute to do so. Still, yesterday had a great mix of the physical and practical, as well as the mental and spiritual. It was a good day, tho there were several moments when I wish I could have just hugged distant people reassuringly. I tried but texts, fb msgs and thought waves just aren't the same!
