Some people are great at making you feel included. I've just been at a family event where myself and my children were included in the marking of everyone's heights on the wall, even tho we're not officially part of the family. Little things like that can make the world of difference.
It's hard going from a busy party to return to an empty house alone. I guess lots of people do that frequently and I take my hat off to them. I will try to stay focussed on getting an early night ready for being back at work early tomorrow.
So far so good on the work front.
ReplyDeleteTile just fallen from the roof tho. What with that and the leak from the dishwasher that's lifted all the boards in the kitchen, I am at some point going to have to call out for someone to do some fixing...
Good luck with the tiles. I'm a bit nervous too as I know 2 of ours have already slipped. If you wish to be re-measured anytime let me know - it's a continuous process. Though with respect any change in your recorded height these days is more likely to be down to the sobriety of the person doing the measuring...
